Photo ID is a requirement of Provincial/territorial health authorities. A valid government issued photo ID is required. Your name and photo must be visible to the proctor.

A working built-in or external webcam and microphone are required.

6 hours but you have a total of 30 days including the exam to complete the course. The course modules resume where you left off.

Upon successful completion of the exam, you will be able to automatically download and print your PDF certificate and wallet-size card.

The exam is proctored by Examity, this company requires registration to complete the exam. All information is confidential and subject to the Privacy Act.

Your Online Food Handler Food Handler exam is available 24/7. Yes, you can scheudule your exam immediately after completion of the training modules.

No, however it is recommended that you use a computer or laptop. Ensure you are connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal or internet connection.

A desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device with a working built-in or external webcam and microphone. Your internet speed must be at least 2 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. Determine your internet speed by running a test at www.speedtest.net. A system test will be conducted when your register for the exam.
